Testimonials

FEEDBACK FROM OUR Artists and CLIENTS

I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Nick on many projects, most notably on the jazz-themed cruises we produce every year. He is the epitome of professionalism, always shows up prepared and with an amazing attitude. Not to mention, his chops are off the chain amazing! This guy is the total package.

Dave Koz

Grammy Nominated & Multi-Platinum Selling Jazz Saxophonist/Composer

I always recommend singers and show-people in the business to Nick. Not only is he a great player, but he’s a team player with an incredible all-in attitude, which is the ONLY combo that works in this town.

Michael Orland

Pianist, Arranger, Vocal Coach, Music Director for “American Idol,” Kristen Chenowith, Katharine McPhee, and Erich Bergen

There’s a reason I have hired Nick again and again and AGAIN! He brings his ENTIRE self to the rehearsal process. Whether he is working with an A list celebrity or a singer who is just starting out, he treats everyone with the same amount of respect and professionalism. What can I say, I adore the guy!

Adriana McPhee

Vocalist & Head Vocal Coach, “American Idol”

In addition to being a very talented musician, Nick has the inherent leadership qualities to direct or produce many professional musical projects, whether it would be in contracting musicians for an event, orchestrating for any studio date, or directing diverse ensembles for TV/Film. In my positive experience working with Nick, I have no doubt that I will see him in many high profile situations in the future!

Tony Pulizzi

Every front-woman’s dream is to get on stage step up to a microphone and play a show knowing that their band has their back. Nick Petrillo makes this dream a reality every single time. He beautifully merges together musical artistry and professionalism both as a keyboardist and a musical director. When Nick is on the bandstand, no one has to worry And everyone is inspired. Oh yeah, and he’s funky as hell.

I love working with Nick. His chops and his instincts are spot on. He know exactly how to fit into every song and every situation. And when he has taken over for me, the process is flawless and right on point. Nick is not only a fantastic player and music director, but a kind and caring man that everyone enjoys working with.

We love being able to customize our music to the different themes our events take on. Nick Petrillo Music is always great at adapting, stretching, and accommodating our varied requests!

Mary Harris

Special Events Producer, Warner Bros.

I ran across Nick Petrillo on YouTube while trying to locate an instrumental/piano only version of the song, “This will be an everlasting love.” I really liked his piano rendition and used it as part of my wedding video background music since we had played the original Natalie Cole version at our wedding. Had I come across his piano version prior to my wedding, I probably would’ve used it instead of the other because you get all the upbeat vibe of the original song without competing with the vocals. Although I like the vocals, there are times, like a wedding, when an instrumental/piano version is more appropriate. This guy has a lot of talent and I look forward to seeing more of his musical talents in the future! Plus, Nick P. responded in a timely manner to my email request which blew me away!
