Live performances require many steps of preparation in order to have everyone on the same page by downbeat. Your technical teams, like sound and lighting, need to be in the loop of your show requirements and you may need a liaison, like a music director, to make sure all elements of your performance run seamlessly between you, your musicians and the venue.
NPM Productions has over 20 years of experience in live production, and can make sure that all of your live performance elements are integrated perfectly. You can choose any service or combination of services to meet your needs, and we’ll make sure your performances run as smoothly and efficiently as possible!
Sometimes it’s easiest to discuss your vision with one person and let them be the liaison between you and the rest of thee music team.
Consultation about song key, note choices and other musical elements that lead to good performance. It may also help to meet with someone to discuss song forms and arrangement choices before building your show.
Having someone on-site to rehearse and direct the band based on your artistic choices will allow you to be free to focus on your own performance.
Running track, guides, or other tech that needs to be triggered in real-time during the show? It’s best to have someone behind you that you know has your back. You can even have your music director on talkback so they can talk in real-time to the band, vocalists, monitor engineer and FOH
Let us handle booking your band, managing their itinerary, and making sure their responsibilities and pay are discussed and delivered.
We’ll make sure your band is officially booked for your one-off or tour. Once we’re under contract with you, we’ll put the band under contract, guaranteeing their booking.
We’ll handle call times and downbeat information in our day sheets to the band, all delivered in a cohesive document. We’ll also handle travel logistics, confirmation numbers, and flight and hotel bookings.
NPM will handle band payouts, leaving you to deliver one balance payment to us for all of our services.
We provide all types of live performance tools, from click tracks with preset guides, to multi-track backing stems. We can create them in-house, or we can put together what you already have.
Tempo-mapped metronome tracks that follow the form of your song or arrangement, but insure the exact same tempo with every performance.
Click tracks with a pre-recorded voice-over calling out sections and important arrangement reminders.
Many live performers now use stems of iconic synths, percussion loops, or other production elements. Sometimes, it’s just to bulk up the sound, like adding extra guitar tracks. Whether you want to add a symphony orchestra or just a conga track, we can build your backing tracks in-house.
Let us handle the tech questions from the venue, put together the blueprint of the stage, and handle any rentals you may need for the show.
A visual guide of where all of the musicians and artists will be located on stage. It also includes any curtains, entrances, exits and stagecraft. Attached will be the input list for FOH.
A complete list of technical and hospitality needs and requests. This will tell the venue what they need to provide for your show before your arrival.
Everything that needs to be provided to the venue before a show, whether it needs to be bought or rented. Before we rent or buy anything, we’ll provide you a list of quotes from vendors so you are prepared for the expenses.
